We are thinking of putting up 2 Heated Wall Tents in the Hummingbird Sledding area just west of Ram Falls this xmas and keep up till spring to Rent out to Sledders, snowshoers, xcountry skiers etc.

Do you think that this is something that you guys would use? If there is intrest we are doing it, if not,,,,,,,

They would be situated next to 2 sledding trails that head into the Onion Lake and Ranger Creek Random Sledding Areas.
We are think of charging: $50. per tent and $20. per person. All wood to heat the tents is supplied.
Thanks,
Brad

I think that is a great idea. But I don't sled just spent tons of time in the outback. The only down side would be that some a$$hats would do some damage to them.

I am very familiar with that area but not on a sled. I've quaded and dirt biked that area for 20 years. I would definatley be interested in sledding there. Not too sure about staying there. I already have a place to stay at Praire Creek. Will you be putting up the tents at the end of the road by the out houses or at the first staging area near the rangers cabin? How much snow do they get up there in the alpine behind Onion.

Sounds like a hell of an idea, have the tent etc myself and love winter campin'. If the rocks/ trees get covered up well we would use this for sure!! Should spend some money in our own province!!

Plan on a spot in the trees right beside Hummingbird Creek, just in behind the toilets and Staging area. Then one can head into Ranger or Onion.
