Snorkels and warranty.

I snorkeled my 2012 brute. My fan keeps blowing fuses and overheating my quad. I'm pretty sure my fan is seized (Gonna take it apart today). Since i snorkeled did i lose all warranty or just for the engine? would my electrical still be covered?

It should not effect your warranty unless you cut into the wiring other than that the snorkles should have caused overheating.Is your rad plugged?I had my dealer snorkle my Exhaust CVT with all stock Canam parts from the XMR so if I had any issues I would just take it back to the dealer

i initially thought my fan seized. I pulled it away from the rad and tried to spin it by hand. A big clump of mud fell out. I got it running now, fuses are not blowing. I got it cleaned out good and functioned it a few times. Everything seems to be good now. Hopefully no more overheating issues.

The lady at precision cycle works said everything was voided. I argued about electrical and she said to call back on tuesday when the shop owner was in. the guy who makes the final call.

no sense callin, ol john boy has already voided the warranty soon as you left the shop, there is a reason why that place is devoid of customers. can't say i'd set foot in that rip joint anytime soon.

thinkin that guy and chunk motor sports are brothers. he has tried just about everything to stay afloat, rip off artist supreme. i'll drive to stettler to buy kawastuki parts. the phawk, uses an answering phuggin machine when ya phone, what a friggin clown. hires morons, that have absolutely no product knowledge let alone know how to open the friggin door at 9. not sure if they even can sign there name.

That's pretty shady if they cancelled your warranty just because you installed snorks. I asked my dealer before I put mine on and they said it wouldnt matter at all. I've even got a fuel pump warrantied and I have a pcv and autotune installed on mine.

what kind of bike business uses an answering machine to aswer calls during the day, hahaha. hires parts people and i presume serice personnel, that have very little product knowlege of any sort. and still keeps the doors open. pretty much anyone i know will travel for miles stettler or edmonton, calgary instead of precision cycle. i haven't been in that rip joint for years. shheeet i'd go dwon the road to polaris before badass john's.
