Did anyone else think some of the paint was a little much, looked like one of the kids barfed after halloween.

After I looked at the pictures, even though I thought the painting was great, it wasn't for me. I know what you mean and maybe I'm a little old fashioned but some of it seemed too much for my tastes.

Too fancy to get covered with willow guts. Waste of time.

Some beautiful paint but I would not be very happy when I rolled one of those down a mountain.

I think the quality was great its just not the eightys anymore , lime greens and hot pinks just ar'nt cutting edge. I realize these are show sleds i just couldnt ever imagine spending two large on a hood, i would have it wrecked just commig out the trailer

just show's that some people have the $$$ and some don't.
personally if I had the $$$ I would find a much better way to spend it.
The biggest thing that I saw at the sled show was....
The Alberta Economy is not suffering all that much.
Some people are starving and other's are spending 2 large on their sled hood !! I don't get it ??

lol yeah i agree. except the coatings are getting very good now. im sure if a sled like that rolled it wouldnt effect the paint at all. maybe if it hit a rock or something. but i like trees...i deffinetly wouldnt get along with that paint job.

agreed, i didn't buy my sled to look pretty, i bought it to ride it. if i go a day without rolling my sled over, I didn't ride hard enough.
i'm not saying that some don't look nice, but just cause you got a $2k paint job doesn't mean you can ride.

I dunno, i have to say that Mountain Magis sled with the lime green and orange was brutal. none of the colors went well together. its a sled, not a traffic sign! Just an eye sore! But thats my opinion.

I buy it to ride it, not to sit at the cabin with the hood up with my gut hanging over my belt. bragging about where my sled could go if i wanted to, but i dont want to rite now.

The Mountain Magic sleds are just going back to what they were doing with the ZX chassis years ago. They were all brightly colored too. It's like their signature kind of. I wouldn't do it, but if they have the money, why not!

But for a shop machine they want their sled to stand out. Any publicity is good publicity, and we're all talking about it right now. Maybe a little over the top but it shows people what you can do with paint and powder coating. I say thumbs up
