I got a 5 and a half foot box, and i got my hands on a 6 foot box sled deck. (if that makes sence to you guys) So i will have to put the back legs on the tail gate, with that siad should i put a couple sheets of plywood on the bed of the truck for the deck to sit on so it might relief some weight on the tail gate? Or i might take the tailgate right off and build a make shift floor with 2x4 and 2 sheets of plywood like a box for it to sit on. Any ideas guys? thanks

Ya dont be placing the legs on the tailgate...or building a floor...

cut em off, reweld, do it right. There are enough cops looking at decks that are done right, dont need someone running down the hiway with their deck draggin behind the truck

thanks guys, it will be a borrowed deck so i will not be able to mod it to fit, so i guess a trailer will have to be used instead.

thanks
