I have the sportster 5, it's been good. Just make sure you hook it up direct to your car/truck radio. The Fm transmitter deal had some interference at times.

Sportster 5 is the one I have. Listen to it everyday. The only problem is when a car passes you with a factory Sirius than you end up listening to there music for a few seconds. Stronger signal .Doesn't happen to often, not many people are willing to pay for music like that.

No, it would be the non factory radios using the FM transmitter instead of the direct hook up. The direct hook up stops that.

The older radios were more powerful and transmit to other vehicles. Change your reciever fron the default setting to another frequency and this stops. I also got a adapter that plugs inline to the truck antenna for better reception and all problems have disappeared. In the boat I plug directly into the aux jack, same one used for the ipod, 6 buck cable from Radio Shack. Check SIRIUS Radio, SIRIUS antennas, SIRIUS accessories | TSS-Radio for accessories and gadgets, Sirius refered me there.

If two radios are using the FM transmitters on the same frequency( or a radio station) they will interfere with each other, changing the default setting won't change that.

You have to hard wire the sat to your radio for best reception.
