5L jugs on sale at Canadian Tire for $47.99 till Oct 1. This is the full synthetic stuff. Mineral based is $27.99.

Excellent oil but really hard to start your sled when it cools down.
At - 25 and colder you can't hardly turn a twin over with this stuff.
With rewind anyway.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. What works better for those cold mornings?

How do the power valves look after running the shell synthetic for a season?

Just about anything . Lol
It's a very good oil other than the cold start problem.
I just run the 100% synthetic Doo oil and it seems okay.
If carbed and running the Shell we would choke engine till stopped for the night.
Helped with cold morning starts .
