I think I may have fallen in love with the M7. I was wondering if there was any way to set this sled up to pull my kids in the skimmer. I was told it would be too hard on an M8, but if I can set up the M7 I would be very thankful. This is still all hypothetical, as sleddingdad does not know my true feelings for his sled. heehee. Should never have gotten on her in the first place. Makes the powder special seem a little too tame. Thanks again my friends.!

no reason at all. get hitch install, hook up skimmer. i would tighten up the back clutch to slow down shift a bit easier on belt.have fun!!!!! no reason a 800 0r 1000 sled wouldn't either.more power less work.

Woods, I pull pretty steep inclines with the kids, My short cuts! . My husband was saying the M7 would get too hot. What do you think.

Whats your other sled? Powder special right? Is it liquid or air cooled? Seems to me he's misinformed unless your pulling moose a saurus around? More power equals less work= less heat! Like i said before tighten up back spring and stops it from gearing up and it works easier!

the m's do build a lot of heat up and are not set up to pull anything, you'll find out the first belt you blow off,and pulling from the rear bumper will only rip the rivets out and the bumper off.i have owned m's since 2005 and love them but not made for pulling at all trust me

There are now many ways/products to deal with the heat issues. There is also a towing kit available that mounts plates to to the side of the tunnel and has a proper hitch. If I can find the info on the kit I will post back.

Glad Sleddingdad is stepping you up for the solo fun time mom.

Good idea to keep the special for the pulling sled, also will make a nice addition to the stable for the kids when they want to go for a burn with the family, considering how much love you put into the special last winter it would be a shame to let her go somewhere else.

That's exactly what I was thinking. My older two kids and my step kids will have a great time with that little PS and I'll be able to pull them no problem, while having Woo hooo Time with the M8! It's smokin awesome!!
