secondary problems

have a 1997 700 rmk , the secondary spring is stong and in good condition yet , the prob im having is its jumping out of position , its the second time its done this , not while im ridding in mountains ,went up to hunter range sledding no probs , till got home the sring jumped again , any one knows whats causing this , any help would be nice thanks

take it a part and check the plastic buttons on the cam they should be about a 1/4 inch thick also the spring should be changed every 1500-2000 miles if you take a new one and stand it side by side the old one will be shorter you don't want that

I think that the problem has to be with a nut,the easiest way to find this nut is to place a mirror on the dash facing the rear of the sled look closely in the mirror and you will see the nut that is causing the problem with the sled,hahaha::
