On my 2021 Outlander XMR 850. There is a 3" tube that is open ended. Points at the "U" in the exhaust pipe coming from the front cylinder.
I followed it back up. And it looks like it connects to the back of the fan.
What is its purpose?
I'm assuming it draws hot exhaust up towards the rad? It just seems goofy
Im not able to find anything on line in my searches on it. A friend of mine said his XMR never had one, that he can recall.(his was older)
Im wishing I started it up with the plastic off and stuck my hand over the end.
I'm guessing getting water and mud into it isn't a big deal, or should it be sealed off and ran some place?
One guy on Facebook said its the exhaust snorkle.
