I will never buy another polaris again. It would be nice if they could make me eat my words and keep me eating them for years to come. I really don't see that happening though. I think the Maverick is a better machine for comfort and looks over the 900. With that said IF I had to buy a polaris and it could not be a Victory then the 900 rzr would be it. I see way too many issues and a ****ty warranty. They have known issues and refuse to update the failures.

I've bashed them for my whole life but I had also owned them. Like you said they Need to up there quality and have less failures. Like the transmission. Motors that blow are common. They are cheaper to buy new and how they do this is they don't use top quality parts to keep costs down. My victory is a Polaris and I love it. So far so good on its reliabilty.

Havent heard any real issues with Victory. I think just because while they are owned by Polaris they really are a different company. Little things like the plastic diff coupler that breaks often. I guess you could say it acts like a fuse in the driveline, but make it easy to change like a fuse lol.

everyone around here is blowing out axels. every ride at least one rzr blows one out. ok, so most of these guys are in deep mud n swamps with 31' mud tyres, 2' lift.
the axels are poorly made IMO. I have swapped them out and worked on them in workshop and swamps.
the air intake for clutch and airbox is also a problem for the swamp crew. many different snorkles tryed with varying success.
belt life is disappointing, and the cover is prone to warping.

over all I do like the machine alot. just don't try to jump them
1000cc would be fun, however a turbo'ed 800 or 900 would probably cost the same

so far the can-am outlander is my dream machine for these conditions, and versatility

No Mark ,that photo is the real deal..........Members on other sites are getting banned for reposting them. It is a 1000 XP with a lot of changes, such as 18 inchs of wheel travel and well over 100HP........
