There will be a general meeting of the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club on Monday, October 4 at 7:30 p.m.
at the clubhouse in the industrial park.

Discussion on new membership rates will be on the agenda as well as updates on proposed closures.

Please try to attend this important meeting.

Memberships will be available in the very near future, once the rates are set. Newsletter will unfortunately, not be out before the meeting so tell your friends to be there as well.

How will the HST figure in to the trail fees? Got a letter from BCSF explaining clubs have to collect it.

HST has to be paid on a daily trail pass and a membership now.
$2.40 on a $20 daily pass.
Just isn't right the tax man collects off the hard work volunteers do and then another arm of govt. threatens and has shut down riding areas.

Membership rates were set last night at our meeting. Singles will now be $130.00 and $15.60 of that increase will be H.S.T. The additional increase will be $5 for the BCSF, $5 for the SRS and $4.60 for the RSC to start up a fund for cabin improvenments/construction again. The well is dry.
Paying H.S.T. on a non-rider membership is the toughest to swallow, getting taxed for supporting isn`t right.
