Hey guys need some advice and where to go from here. Seems like they are two schools of thought. Try to flush out the crankcase, rebuild then hope for the best or split the case. Anyone was any pointers for a first time sled mechanic

i would pull it and refresh the motor, depends on your budget. fairly easy your halfway done with the top end apart.

I would go with pulling it apart and clean it. That way you can check the crank bearings. If you have enough mike to drop a skirt the crank won't be to far away IMO.
