Hi guys,

What do you guys wear on your head when riding your toys in cold weather?

What is the best combination?

FOG is the enemy here.

Ended up with a balaclava inside my helmet without goggles yesterday at -17.
Not too bad.

How are full-face helmets with heated visor?

I have 2 Yamaha ATVs, without windshields.

Cheers.

I fitted a heated visor to my full face helmet it works good I wouldn't be without one
there no fogging anymore, the first time I used it was sledding at -25
the cable can be a bit of a pain just remember to unplug when you dismount

I just use my regular Fox helmet for winter riding, but it's usually pretty short trips. No goggles because the fog up sometimes.

that is, if you are dismounting by choice. some people dont get a chance to unplug before they are dismounted lol:d

but yeah heated visor would be the warmest, easiest to use.
u can get a plugin to go into your 12volt socket. you can then plug your helmet cord into it, so you dont have to wire in the special plug.

You can also just cut off an old cell phone cord and wire them up, very easy as there are only 2 wires.
