rhino 660 - UPDATED INFO..... no engine???

hey guys have a customer with a 2006 660 rhino with 2058KM a DAMAGED ENGINE CASE... doesnt want to fix it.... were taking serious offers.... it has a 3000lb winch as well as a stereo...

PROBLEM IS BOLT HOLES THAT HOLD CYL ON TO CASE ARE STRIPPED OUT,
we tried to helicoil but they wouldnt hold...so you need to fill in the hole, drill, and tape out new threads that should work or change out cases..

any further info. please call an talk to terry or mark 780-826-6121

Pooched as in one needs a new engine, or is it rebuildable? Year and Kms? Do you know the history of the unit?

im thinking the guy is looking for around 3-4k. or close... could prob part it out and make 5....

salvage able- parts - diffs , axles, rims/tires. all electrical, winch, bumpers
etc.... body panels, stereo, seats, a arms, drive shafts, hubs...

i would love to see this with a 900 cc engine in it......that would be cool

we are trying to help out the customer to move this unit, its for the guy that likes to wrench. the engine is already dissasembled on top end...down to the cases.. hope the extra info helps..

other than the engine the unit is in average or slightly above, this is why it pays to go to trusted shops, this
damage was caused by inexperienced, self proclaimed specialist....

Both cases damaged, owner most likely busted the middle drive gear support. Cost for just the cases and an aftermarket aluminum middle gear support,.. too much PLUS cost of rebuild.

This machine is better parted out or doing a Rotax swap,.. of course if sold for cheap. Rotax swap would run somewhere between $4000 and $6000

IMO $3500 is reasonable,.. $4000 is too much

K, nm about middle gear,.. nonetheless,.. price still stands.
