We unloaded on Kirkup right beside the Turtle turn-off May 1st and 2nd. Snow was soft but was in excellent condition. On Sunday it actually was snowing a little too hard to get out of the trees. About 6 inches fresh at best but such an easy drive from Calgary this time of year and the truck didn't even hardle get dirty. Overall well worth the trip.

I will post a You-tube link shortly of my kid on the Turbo M-6 riding on Saturday around Super Bowl.

Dam that looks like fun You think my wife would get mad if I went to Revy instead of my son's wedding in Winipeg this weekend. HEHEHE Maybe next weekend if it's still good.

Was into Turtle on Friday and a secret spot near Revy on Saturday with the Thunderstruck crew. Lots of willows to fight on the trail into Turtle. Snow is soft and wet in both places. Lots of good climbing, sunshine, and blue skies. No new stuff, but thats not a surprise. Nothing to complain about... that's for sure!!

was out in revy for the long weekend. day one we went up to mt mcrae. drove almost to the cut block and worked our way in. was really good conditons. better than frisby on day three. made it to the back and down the other side. snow was quit slushy by the end of the day. trail in was good condtion given the time of year. day two was in keystone. bluebird all day for us. was 6" of fresh. trail was good as well. Day three at frisby, sucked in comparison lol. only drove 5km up though

LOL I have never heard anyone say keystone trail was good! Love the area........hate that trail.

Our last trip to keystone we had 2 ft of fresh snow and the bottom part of the trail was still brutal. Took us 1 hour to get through the cutblock/trees, it was a killer day once we got in. This was back in march incase people are wondering.

Mcrae must have took some work to get into?

was actually pretty good. snow was pretty setup. i know the area pretty good so workin through the trees was a breeze. Droppin down the backside past the lake... now that is not for the faint of heart lol and requires some power to get back up even with setup snow.

I know the exact spot you are talking about. We dropped back there in Jan but the snow had a crust on top. It was tricky getting in and out. The spot where we came out you had to sidehill a long ways, I kept thinking.....dont mess up or it might be garage sale time.

Nice spot once you get back there though.
