Rev panel straps

I have to replace the 4 panel straps on my 05 800 and need some advice!! the ones on the bottom look to be a real pain in the azz???

naa they are rivited in. but from the backside. you need to replace them with long rivets but from the outside and just make sure that when the new rivet is installed they dont rub on the track.

I leave mine undone in the summer so they do not get prematurly worn or stretched.

I also need to replace mine. If you rivit them from the outside, how do you know that they won't rub the track?

because there is about half inch clearance on each side +- so it shouldnt...and i beleive its above the track also but cant remember.

Yes, it is above the track but when the suspension is compressed, the track will be at the same height.

Any idea how long the rivet was?????
