Okay, I know the ground is crazy wet right now but is there a fireban or bylaw against fires in the riding area out by Redwater? My girlfriend and I are planning to go for a ride this sunday and we'd like to have a hot dog roast:). Does anyone have any info on this? I've ridden the area countless times before but I don't remember seeing anything on it? We'd only be having it on an open and sandy area (and obviously pack out what we pack in unlike some other people:nono:).

Any insight is appreciated!

you can check albertafirebans.ca but i haven't heard of there being one in effect in redwater this year yet. You can also call the sturgeon county office as they would also know.

Luke please be very carefull with your fire. Find a sandy spot and dont build a fire on a grassy spot. Sorry you probally know that just checking and making a suggestion to help
