i took the skid out of my 2004 summit rev 144 with 151 extrension.

i found that the rails were bent, bearings were all shot and the raer arm is bent were the torsion springs mount so the floating axle is no longer floating

and also my big wheel kit wont work with the rail extensions.

so basically i need a new 151 skid. i just dont know what my options are because im having trouble finding a used skid. i dont know if 151 skids are all the same...or if i can use one from a zx.... i noticed the front arm on the revs mount differant than the zx. or my other option is to find a set of 151 rails and just buy a new arm. but i dont know which rails are compatable or if all 151 rails are the same..haha basically im lost unless i find a 151 skid from a 2004 summit

Used sled dealer will have the parts you are looking for. Might be cheaper to save what you can and buy what you need then re-assemble the skid. There are some good 151's to be had out there though. I just bought a 144 to extend for $250.

When I wrecked the rails on my 01 Poo I went to to purchase new ones. They are one of the suppliers to the sled manufacturers.
Pricing is fair and you can choose the offset for larger wheels (eliminating costly axles).

I also went from a 151 to a 159 track.

wow those rails are half the price of stock.

and thers no drilling? stock stuff just bolts on?

that might be my best option. since im powdercoating the rails then i wouldnt have to disassmble another skid:)

Have 151 rails and track from 04 summit. Putting in 159 with new rails.
Also have front arm, putting in Racer's Edge chromoly arms, losing about six pounds. Sent reply if interested, live in Onoway.

I beleive that specialty sleds has some rails in stock for 151 doo skid.

went there today to drop of my ypipe and i saw a used set on the table so i asked and they said they were off a customer sled but would call. 5 minuts later i had a good deal on a set of rails. hahaha of an rt 1000. they said the rails are all the same for rev doos. sooo i hope
