I don't know what everyone's opinion is on the RCMP out in Bruderheim patrolling the sand...

I for one don't mind that they check your registration and insurance due to the large amount of stolen toys out there.
But I mean come on I got stopped by the exact same cop 6 times in an hour.... Thats less that 15 minutes of riding and being stopped again and again and again. The 5-0 personally ruined our time at Bruderheim. I was teaching my girlfriend how to ride this weekend and everything. Just made it no fun.

I wish they would tag your bike with a ribbon or something.

Anyone else have their two cents?

being stopped that many times by the same officer is def. overkill. I fully understand the reasoning behind the presence there but...What was the reasoning from the officer for the multiple stops?

They should do like the Fish and Feathers do on May-long. Check the insurance and registration once, then issue a handlebar sticker/tag. Saves them time, and us time when you run into another officer.

they were doing that last fall in Grande Cache. thought it was a cool idea, checked us all once and never bothered us again all weekend when we saw them after that.

They did that here for May Long a few years back. They'd check you for insurance and registration....if all was good, they'd tie a blue ribbon around your bars and you were good to go for the weekend. The only problem was that it was easy to undo and re-tie on a buddy's bike that didn't measure up....basically the same thing the caucasionly challenged gravel truckers in Edmonton were doing to get their trucks to pass inspection.
