rave valve cleaning details

just looking for some direction on cleaning them up

Just pull them out and cleane them. i would recomend soaking them in diesel fuel to loosen the carbon up and they should clean up well. Oh ya watch for all the springs and parts. to put the rubber boot and spring back on was a challenge i used a zip tie tie rap to pull the spring over the boot and into the grove.

I scrape off the excess junk with a gasket scraper then use brake clean and scotch brite to polish them up good. I like that diesel idea the guy before me said too.
