Purchased a set at the sled show, when I went to install them,in order for the bolt head to clear you can only get 2 1/2 turns on the spring and nut.Any one who has installed a set of these will know what I mean.I did not Install them,2 1/2 threads at 8200 rpm doesent give me a warm fuzzy feeling.Any suggestions.:d:d

Not sure which ones you have but sounds like mine locking nut is flush with the end and thats all. I put a dab of locktite on them and so far so good. I used a set of calipers to make sure they were all same distance from the clutch, just me have them on a o7 800r more balance is good.

The lock nut on mine go in about 6 threads from flush my sled is an 06 Rrenegade x 800 I don't think the x package should affect the length of the clicker bolts.I'll call specialty on monday and see what Ken has to say.

You can have the inside of the bolt head turned down to give you more threads on the other side or you can round out the nut side of the clutch housing to allow you to thread the nut on more before it recesses into the hex casting.

Or you can buy Cudney Racing ones, which is what I did. They make a longer bolt to compensate for the clicker spring. They fit any TRA and they are a canadian manufacturer. :D
