putting aftermarket can on m6?

i have a buddy with 2008 m6 and is wondering if he can put a slp can on it he has heard that if he does it runs like crap

i have a buddy with 2008 m6 and is wondering if he can put a slp can on it he has heard that if he does it runs like crap

My m6 turbo seems to be very sensitive to having enough back pressure. If the can is suppose to be the same for m6, m7 and m8 I would be worried. If it is made specifically for the m6 it may be okay.
