i am having problems with the pull cord sometime it hooks up and sometimes it doesnt ,,, did anyone else have a problem with there's on a 07 rev 800r summint

No problems with my 06.

I'm not overly informed how the recoil's work but you may have a potential issue there. Better to fix now then be stuck on the hill.

couple things

first you need to pull off the recoil housing. and check for worn parts. there is an eyelet that sometimes wears out and needs to be replaced. these things mess up all the time. i alywas buy another one as its a good part to keep in the trailer.

secondly. once you pull off the housing and if all the internal parts apear to be ok....the grease that is in there from the factory tends to get very sticky and restrict the movement of the parts inside. clean ALL the parts very good and apply a small amount (if any ) of graphite or lithium low temp grease.

be VERY carefull when removing the clip and the parts inside. the spring is EXTREMELY hard to rewind once it pops out on you.
