I ordered my dynatek cdi for my prowler today. Should have it in about a week. The guy i talked to on the phone said it will unleash the inner beast on my prowler. When i have it installed and give it a test ride i'll let you know how it is. He also said i may have to jet down 1-2 sizes. Any coments?:d:confused:

well i think from the factory they are a bit rich, it may clean it up, but you need fuel and air to get power... but they should know what there talking about,, so i wouldnt have any doubts about taking there advice.... make sure that your at the same altitude that might make a bit of a difference

They must have made carb versions first or something. I went here:

and they list the 650 h1 as an EFI. :confused:

well i been selling them since they came out and everyone i sold had a carb,,, unless they have some special efi kit,,lot likely but possible....

well just to stir it up a little bit:d,
i have never seen an arctic cat 650 that was efi, if one does exsist,
i would be very surprised. if its listed inthe specs i didnt see it
.. but everyone makes mistakes... i can with out reservation tell you i have never had the opportunity to order one, and i a have Canadian Prowler Dealer of the Year award on my desk, that gives me the confidence to say, if it was out there i would have sold at least one or know about it,
you guys have been lead astray by salesman that dont know, or people who werent sure,,
course i love to be proven wrong, so i am willing to bet 1/2 a bottle of Gibbsons finest, to the one who can prove me wrong on this factoid....

just the facts guys, im not trying to prove anyone wrong, just want to make sure you have the right info:):):):):)

What size was the quad which was efi in 07

700 efi, this was a carbon copy of the suzuki 700 kingquad, as suzuki supplies most of cats engines, ok ok no screamers, let me rephrase that statement

Suzuki Canada- works closely with Arctic Cat Inc and the share alot of engines with can and also work with them in the development of new engines. Certain engines are exclusive to Cat, ie 650 h1 (carb) :dThunder Cat, 550 Efi, 700 H1

let the questions begin.................................:):):)

The Dynatek is great for eliminating the reverse limiter but din't notice much improvement in the forward gears. It winds up a little better and only jumps the rpm 200-300. Still only getting 65-6700 rpm vs 6200 before, not the 8000 there saying. wondering what is next jetting,pipe,clutch kit/diff springs. where should a guy start?:rolleyes::confused:
