I am looking to buy a new 2010 RMK 800 155. I have to say I am a little gun shy when it comes to Polaris, more of a Ski Doo fan. But the Polaris prices a really good right now. Just would like some opinions. Thanks for the help

I Love my Pro 163 hope that helps. ;) I took some video with my new helmet cam last weekend, I had my nephew with me on his first ever trip so I was limited to where I could go but it's kinda cool. If you want to check it out

the po po blow up seems quit a bit nowadays.... its far to easy to flick around [ kind of un nearving to me ] .... the doo's [ i'e xp's ] are way to hard to flick around but they are awsome on fuel - oil [ e techs ] and now that gas is so darn $ that makes a different.... also the new e techs pull like hell too where the po po not so much..... just depends what cha want...

skidoo has a better resale value down the road too.... not sure if ya have seen but there is a ton of po po 800's for sale for next to nothin [ says somethin is wrong ]

Just watched the latest snow tracks and they also prefer the new ETEC for the 800 market. I would stay away from po po. You'll end up paying more in the long run in new engines

there is a reason they are cheaper....they just cant keep engines in them........you can pick up a 08 800 for under $5500 right now.....seems like they cant give them away......if the price of scrap alum goes up they might just take them to the scrap yard! lol Im waiting to see what this new 800 does in the PRO. dont waste your money! oh and I WAS a polaris fan!

I know the etec is the best fuel/oil mileage going but for the handling I prefer the m8, the dragon felt nicer than the scud, but the reliability is scary when you look on here and see how many Polaris sleds have detonated, they all have their problems and I do know of two separate guys we ride with that have over 4000km on 800 dragons trouble free, but it seems rare. I would go ride all three and decide from there, what's an extra grand if it will last longer, feel more comfortable, or the resale is higher, also take into account your dealer and their service record, I bought my cat from the local guys and they piss me off so bad I will probably be on a scud next time just to avoid dealing with them. Also I did squeeze 146km out of a tank on my M8 last weekend and still had a bit if fuel left when I got home, not bad mileage, but we rode into hole in the wall and flat top and it was wind blown to hell. Make the salesmen work for it, test rides are fun

You won't find to many positive reports about the Polaris Dragon on this site. If you like the chassis, your best bet would be to buy a used one ond get the PMS motorsports kit installed. New 2010's are selling for what? $9500 Canadian. You can get a used one for around $6000 and put the kit in it and have a better sled for much less. JMHO

Also heard adding 30-50ml oil into every tank of gas is supposed to help out, not sure if this is good or bad, I put a small shot in my cat just because my friends all do with every different brand, maybe put Polaris in your title, there are slot of Polaris guys on here that will be a huge help for ya
