I have a 2006 RMK 600. just put in a new short block with my old water pump shaft. The mechanic at the dealer put in the first set of seals and my impeller rubbed out the mechanical seal and spunn the impeller on the shaft. So I took it into my own hands and replaced all te seals and impeller. The shaft had .047" of play and I was told that it was okay. We pressed in the mechanical seal and took half of the play out with the seal. I ran the sled for 1/2 an hour and it overheated. Took the cover off and the lock nut was 1/2 untightened and the impeller was spun again and it rubbed on the case. Any Suggestions???
