i have an 07 rev with an 08 motor anyway lately when i am doing a climb the first two climbs i do it runs holds rpm and climbs great but after that it seems on my third climb when i am in the climb it will start sputtering and not running right so i go back down shut it off let it cool a bit, then go again same thing first couple of climbs runs and sounds great but on the next climb again sputtering sounds terrible rpm dropping just not running right at all, again shut it off let cool first couple of climbs sounds and runs perfect then after that runs horrible anybody have any ideas what it is or anybody ever experienced this type of problem before any input is appreciated

Yup sounds like overheating the clutch. Probably needs a thorough service and some venting on that side doesn't hurt either.

thanks for the suggestions, I just had the bushing on the sliding half replaced and now has 300km on it plus i do do regular service and inspection plus cleaning of the clutches, if the motor is overloading would the rpm be way up there just asking as i am not sure.

Could be heat soak. The factory single ring pistons are known for that issue. Not enough surface area to dissipate head from your piston to your cylinder/cooling system. Piston overheats and engine loses power.

Time for an RKTek drop in kit !! mine had the same issue last year, dual ring pistons and climbs all day long like a meth'ed out mountain goat

apply 12 volts to your dpm and listen for the solenoid, most likely its not the DPM
