How much weight is shed when taking out the stock lights? They seem very heavy to me but it is hard to tell how much of the weight is headlights vs. rest of the hood. I've seen guys mount a single fog light in the middle of there bars just under the cross bar, seemed to work good.

Headlight doesn't wiegh as much as you think the heaviest component in the hood is the Polaris computer, and ya I've seen that to but roll my sled over quite a bit so idunno how well a fog light there would hold up

in all honesty, whats the purpose of deleting the headlight? does it give more air to the airbox, or is it for weight savings? i just installed a turbo, and they used the intake in the hood instead of a sock.

I have a hard time believing that you guys would do such a thing. Makes no sense to me.

What headlight delete kit did you get? I have seen a couple and they both came with a light.

I am doing this because I need more venting going into the engine, clutches the weight doesn't matter, the side panels strength is flawed when u add the full side vents and I tend to roll my sled a considerable amount, but anyway I'm looking for something that can be taken off/ put on easilly as I am not a night rider only time I need a light is if we get stuck on the mountain late and suggestions?
