polaris saw tooth

i have a 06 polaris sawtooth that i bought brand new for the kids , warranty is long gone ,it still runs good and is in decent shape. here is the problem . it will not stay in foward gear . how many peeps would tear into this on there own , how many would take it to a dealer ......... i'm thinking it will cost more than it is worth , i would like to sell it , but i hate to sell things that don't work

Soooooooo no one nows how to fix this thing???? no sollutions ?? no advice:d
