Polaris RMK top end?

so i hear the RMK sleds have been having issuses with the engines (top end so i hear) i talked to a guy and he said once the top end is redone the engine still is weak, its that true or false?

if its true would it better to just get a new engine?

i have a buddy thats 60 and has all updates and it still eats pistons. Seems polaris cant build a sled over 700cc that will stay together.

I have a Turboed 800 Dragon.....1700 mls as of last season...took sled in to get new top end to start fresh for this yr and mechanic said he's never in 20 + yrs seen a top end in a 2 stroke look that clean after those many miles......

depends a lot on the oil your using as well
poos just seem to perform better with the better oil

accordng to dynotechresearch.com, the stock 800 will put out mid 140's for hp. WIth a good tune and a PC3, low 150's. Add a pipe to be in the mid 150's.

know somebody with 09 dragon 800 3 engines now he mixes oil in the tank plus injection no problems,He's told the mechanics and they wont turn the oil pump up cause thats not the problem they say.
