Any one have access to what the codes mean on the 2011 800 EFI Polaris engines.
My Crew is coming up with 0 where the gear reads, 51 for the odometer and 4for the clock display in diagnostics mode. The thing is surging/cutting out at higher throttle.
Was doing this for a bit before the light come on:confused:
Checked the plug wires and of course the ends pulled off the plugs, checked plugs, looked good, not lean or rich, put on NGK caps and unhooked battery for a while. Out of ideas

going to pull filter today, when light is on it runs better, when light goes out it misses more and rpm surges bad and raises to 2000rpm plus, not sure how filter could plug with 40 liters fuel burnt, going to check where ground is also.
The zero on the diagnostics means there is no codes according to some info I found, not sure what the 51 and 4 mean as there is no specific code for it. Most of the 4 codes are ground related. May be warranty time, just a pain as we use it every day, why does yamaha not make a big crew type unit, hope i dont regret buying a polaris!

Take it in to the dealer, there is a reflash for eps models because some of the software is missing, also there are many electrical harness updates for all of the range 500-800 polaris wiring is the worst in the business sorry.

throttle position sensor voltage low. Under your seat on the side of the throttle body you will see the sensor. make sure it is connected and it tight. Try some dialectric grease in the connection. Check the wiring going to the connection for breaks. usually if there is a broken wire it is pretty close to the connection. make sure your battery is fully charged and has good voltage. If none of the above you may have to take it to the dealer to have the computer hooked up. May be a faulty sensor.
