POD filters??

are there any good benifits to putting on pod filters?
also my sled is equiped with the dpm, so do i need to re-jet if i was to put on pods?

more air in =more fuel needed. you will have to rejet. and you will have to mount the ambient air temp sensor some where close to the pods where it will stay dry. have seen guys just zip tie it in between the carbs. hope this helps.

The equation on most sleds is: Poor vacuum signal=bigger main jets. You just think you are pulling more air in and making it go lean.

i see, from my understanding (not much of one), i thought that that DPM on my summit meant it was like automatic jetting adusting therefore i thought putting pods on it would just self adjust? but if i am wrong tell me as i am uncertin!

If memory serves me from when I still rode Skidoo, DPM controls float bowl vaccuum/pressure to compensate for atmospheric pressure/air density changes. This is a finite adjustment. You still need to baseline with your jetting.

Of course if I'm wrong i'll deny everything I said here! :d
