no more spreading magic information about 15+hp y pipes and 5+ horsepower cans.

also 160+15+5 = ? 250? no..

this information turns into talk on the hill and in turn ends up being a very emarassing day for someone.

dyno sheets or it doesnt happen.

and not the manufacturers pretty dressed up paint version either.

that is all..lol :D

i wasnt bitching about chris burandt.

hes basically my idol and i watch all of his films and would like to ride like him one day.

i was bitching about how everything is compared to him but how it actually doesnt apply in most situatiions.

of course the thread got out of control and the actual topic of the thread was never discussed.

now this time im not bitching about HP. who doesnt want more HP? I spent 100 days a year in the hills trying to find extra HP.

my bitch is about people who make up or read false information and pass it on as THE WORD.

im just saying if your Y PIPE makes any more HP than stock. SHOW ME. on the hill or on a dyno sheet. preferably on the hill

anyone who knows sledding and performance in general knows that a sled making 10-15+ hp more than its contender will shine..

just havent seen it thats all :D

and yes it is that time of the month

and no midol doesnt help

the straight line up thing is great for proving who's sled can hang with what other sled because it takes the rider out of the equation somewhat.

once you start taking the scenic route like maxwell then the line starts to get blurry. maxwell alone adds 15hp

Im with Teeroy...I cant ride my daughters M6 to its limits so Im pretty sure I dont need any MORE power out of the E-Tek for a while...

I am the first to admit that I dont know how to ride, but damn I have fun...

AND, I love watching those of you that can ride, learn a lot from it. To me there is no competition, if your sled is more powerful than mine, great! But, couldnt care less...Im intrigued by turbos ONLY because the technology is similar to diesels (my real passion).

IF...I could convince my buddies...I would convince them all to switch to 600's and then work on skill, but funny no one wants to switch...

you need a REALLY smooth roller hill with a stupid easy run to take the rider out of the equation.

if youve got some bumps and woops before you get to the bottom how the rider compensates for that with body and throttle position can have a big effect on the results

lol...I suggested that to a few of my buddies. let's get rid of these high strung failure prone 800's and we all should buy 550 XP fanners. let the fun begin....:d
