Anyone know where to get in edmonton that type of composite or plastic plywood for decks or trailer floors?, the same stuff full lotus uses. The plywood on my new marathon deck which was not supposed to warp has warped and looks like crap, I want to redeck it soon as winter is approaching if you step outside today.:d

Just remember that if you are going to use plastic decking on other brands of decks other then the Full Lotus decks, there may not be enough cross supports to hold the decking up. The other decks are designed to work with the ply-wood as a structual part of the deck, with the Full Lotus deck we designed it so that the decking material is not structual.

Just something to keep in mind so you don't spend all that money on decking and find out that it sags in between the cross memebers, you could also add extra bracing to support the decking.

Thanks

You can get lexan in 1/2" thickness....that would be cool. and it's probably stronger than plywood....:D

Whats on the plastic "decking" for traction? It would be the end of a weekend slipping off my deck.

and greeeeeasy.....put a little snow on that stuff and lookout. my buddy runs the local glass shop, we made a set of guides for a ramp out of Margard (really expensive lexan), the carbides wouldn't even scratch that stuff....was insane trying to load the sleds on it....but it would last forever. :D

The composite plastic we use is a textured plastic, it specially made for our Full Lotus decks, when it gets wet it actually creates traction. Using some like lexan would be very slippery, same reason why you do not want to use aluminum as decking.

I was looking for the textured stuff like Full Lotus said, I want it to eliminate the bowing and warping crappy looking plywood on Marathon decks. Will probably just tecture rubber coat the plywood and call it a day.
