Planning a trip outwest of Sundre

So a few buddies and myself are planning a trip outwest of Sundre but need to know where some good trails are and campgrounds around them that will allow us to ride our quads in and out of the campground as we don't want to be pulling the big trailer out every time we want to go out. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I don't think there is any actual campgrounds that you can ride out of unless you west of rocky to the outwest campground
lots of good bush camp spots west of sundre

Yaha Tinda is out that way, haven't been out ridin there but friends have they say its good ridin. Bearberry is that way too. Not sure of campgrounds google em.

Ya just the james river bridge provincal camp ground. No services and a ways out there.

Lots of good spots closer to bearberry just off pavement past the bridge.

Dry camping at its finnest.

James river provincial campground has been closed for two years or better.

pretty sure there are no quads allowed in provincial campgrounds, interesting to find out how much the fines are.

I didn't think there was much riding near the ya ha as it is a horse area I know you can ride to eagle lake and out to the trunk road
thought that was it as the panther side is closed or was to ohv

yes check srd site before they hand out some how ya doin papers.

Where they hold the sundre fire dept. rally is a good area as well with lots of squatting

752 West is also west of rocky at the same turn off as Outwest. Lots of great ridding right from there. 403-845-9275
