driven on many a logging rd, and with caution around corners all is fine...

we need to work with them as much as they need to work with us, each offer respeck, and life is good, keep running rds to a minimum and stay out of their way...

They are not logging on the pipeline. It's maybe strange but the snow on the pipeline is white!!!

Not as deep as it could be and not as soft as it could be. Some sections are rougher than others.

I would recommend the extra drive to Fernie and ride the groomed to the Rolling Hills and then to the Notch. JMHO....

Last weekend it was great. Deep and fresh but a little heavy. Warm temps all week so some settling will have occurred. Should be fun and there will be untracked pockets in various places.

Hi ferniesnow,

What are the conditions looking like for this weekend? We are riding Fri / Sat. Going to stage @ coal creek and head to Wranglers Cabin then up the pipeline. Any info is much appreciated:)

I groomed last Friday night and the snow was great. It got better from Pages Draw up. Rode Sat and Sun in Elkford but the snow is deep and if you look you will find lots of fresh. Enjoy, fs

Posted the same thing for Golden, but Fernie is supposed to get a decent amount of moisture down low. Shouldn't this equate to some prime riding in the Fernie area this weekend in the above freezing level elevations?

Looking to get out Sunday. Probably a day trip for sledboarding.

The first pic is a retrieval of my MM when the bars snapped off on the Friday. The bump between the sled on the left and us is the windshield. There is a Nytro in front of the person in the blue on the right. We tried to get it on the saturday, but it was snowing way to hard and you couldn't see a thing. Here is a pic of the "fix".
