thats all i have.. there are some video's floating around on facebook's battenfelder atv rodeo site.. its an open site, so anybody can view and read there.. we had 17 teams, the most ever.. max is 21 teams for now.. they are looking at seperating the mud pits from the X country course that was lenghtened by like 4 km of race trails.....so that the 2 wheel drive quads could be atracted to the rodeo...

Those are the chariots, you also have 3 outriders that work with you, everything was going well til we tried to backup the damn trailer. two of our guys tried and we just couldn't get the trailer to cooperate. What a *&^$%$^ blast. I was talking to the Starter of the races, and he lives on the adrenaline that we as racers throw out, says when the riders are on the line he just soaks it up.

im suprised that with as many quadders that we have here on the site, that we could get at least another team of 4 or 2 teams of 4 going for this September... if your interested go to battenfleder atv rodeo... this is there web site and there will be a promo vid from last fall on all the events...

After the brass went to Kawi last fall, get torqued decided that would not happen again.. Kevin Barnes of get torqued took the king of the drags brass home this spring....
other showings from the can-am big boys proved that there is another power house on the block....
and the battle continues this fall in September.....lol

I am very surprised that only 4 members, (Big Dawg, Capt. Jack Sparrow, Kwik Racing and I) went to this. This event has been going for 11 years. I highly doubt you will find anything like it around. The amazing thing is despite the potential for an absolute disaster everyone I saw were respectful of each other and their machines. I not sure how bettter to explain it. They limit the event to 21 teams so as to not get too out of hand. Wasn't sure what Larry had dragged me into but I'm hooked! If I missed any one, I am sorry but it is not like anyone had a snow and mud sticker on their quads, right?
On post 4 picture 2 I am the rider on the red Can Am on the left, and yes I beat the renegade through the water, mud bugs are the shizzle(?) I don't think i have still come down from the high! Christ, next I' ll be giggling like a little girl! I can't wait.

Yeah thats the thing.. there were some other machines that out did the can-ams in the rally race...and pulled just as good as anyone else too, in the pipe drag pull... maybe the drags belong to Can-am's and modified Kawi's, but the rest is anybodys win.... depends on rider, mostly, not machine... that said, nobody puts no one down.. everyone has fun....i beleive if Kelly, your friend Keith, and Matthew want to be on the same team again.. i would love that.. we actually did very good.. and think we could definetly improve if we can keep the same team together! This time you guys have to come with your families and camp right there... then you would be double hooked! ...lol

Didnt get a spot so I suspect that it is no, I have had a couple of offers to camp in a larger spot . Problem is we have so many trips planned this year and I have to figure out how to sneek out of the house. Just kidding, I would love to get out there.

Oh as for coming out in Sept, count me in, as to the wife and mutts I suspect that they may want to stay at Thunder again will have to see. I would prefer to stay at the campground as the drive back to thunder just about finished me. The Wife and her friend that we camp with said they would come out to see what got my motor running.

haha! yes i year ya! ok well i have site 31 on the map not sure how big it is.. i was on 18 last year and barly remember someone camping across and down 1 or 2.. it was a seasonly site.. the people are not coming this year so i got it.. if your interested i can phone and find out how big cause i only have my 6 x 12 enclosed and my truck... what you got?
