What works and what does not, mainly after top end speed, used for checking oil and gas wells and need to pick up the pace a bit. Hoping for just a chip or programmer type of a deal. One is a 2007 other is a 2009.

Thanks for your suggestions

Hi
I own a 2009, stock form tops out at around 65 km/h, if you are willing to spend $160.00 with Hunterworks and install greaseless over drive 18 gram weights and a gold epi secondary spring you will pick up the speed to 80 km/h. These mods don't take out the engine rpm limiter and this is why I went that direction.
This is a single cylinder engine and you can only get so much from it unless you do engine work.
Good luck with your mods, and enjoy the sxs

For the '07 660 I suggest 16gr HW overdrive weights and a HW tri-fire cdi, for the 700 18gr overdrive weights and an MSD cdi. Also look into a HONDA syphon break #17255-HN1-000 OR get one from UTVinc.com,.. this will catch the oil that will be entering your filter housing from the crankcase breather due to high speed travel snd high engine revs.

At 64 km/h I seem to bump the speed limiter, how do you get around that? Without doing any programming?

Call Kevin @ rapidrevolutions 780 455 7553 he has clutchs sheaves that are ground for a higher top speed. I'm not sure how much the gain is or the price.
