This is VERY IMPORTANT GUYS!!!!

Just got a call from LeAnn the President of Trailseekers snowmobile club who had been talking with Don Bamber - Royal Elk Products.

DON HAS ADVISED THAT 6 SNOWMOBILERS WERE PULLED OUT OF THE PEMBINA RIVER TODAY ALONE. THEY WENT THRU, THIS IS THE WORST THEY HAVE SEEN THE RIVER IN OVER 25 YEARS

STAY OFF.

I cannot stress this enough guys,

For more information, please contact me here on the site, or call Don Bamber - 780-785-3558.

The Hogsback area has always been one of the worst areas for not freezing. It has fast flowing shallow rapids that make it not freeze properly. Deep creek area has been known to be another concern. Keep off if your not prepared to keep your speed up and do some water skipping. Thought it would have froze solid last month? Take breaks on the many sandbars!

Don's right in that area, and he was down there helping with the rescue, I've just been asked to pass this on.

If Don is near the area... It could be near the Rangeton Park? The river for most part was low before freeze up . :)
