120-126 degrees all the time, off trail. On hardpacked trail, once it gets above 130 I pull into the snow, nail the throttle and it immediately drops down to 122:d

is this in powder or hard pack. are you running with scrathers on hard pack? Your sled has the front heat exchanger on it.

I concur with hayastusa- 120-126 in powder. Only time i hit 130 is on hard pack and then the scratchers come down if i have to run on hard pack for any length of time. Otherwise i pull into powder and it drops to 122 right away.
How you liking your Poo Hayastusa?

I only put them down on hard pack. You wouldn't want them down all the time as you would probably forget about them and hit reverse eventually. They would fold over and your out $60.00. When they are up they will not interfere with your riding and I have never had one deploy itself . I recommend putting them on. You will see a difference right away on hard pack.

So far, so good! Going from the yammie to the Poo is like going from a hippo to a gazelle. Ever see a hippo jump an approach? It's not pretty. Thanks for asking:beer:

My scratchers are still sitting in the truck. I'll install them if I plan a weekend of groomed trail riding in Sask, but for around here...no need, yet.

you dealer has misinformed you if he thinks the rmk has no front track cooler. I have the same sled as you and mine had one. I removed it. The assault and dragon are the only models without a front cooler. Make sure you have enough coolant in the sled as well. I would say the snow conditions are not goo enough to cool the sled properly.

I've never used cable scratchers, but if you're stuble jumping, they might suit you better on wind blown fields.

Your front cooler is visible from underneath, back of the bulk head. Looks just like a flat piece of aluminum.
Not sure who you mean by "Dealer", but talk to anyone you can in parts, sales and service. You'll soon find out that 1/2 of them in each dept don't know fly chit from pepper. The're simply loyal, they cover holidays and stupid enough to split a sale when they can't answer customers questions.

Good luck

Not while I had it.
Old pick, sorry, stolen last year along with a D8.
My son went to the 800 RMK 144 and I'm on a Pro.
Never had an issue with them at all, and as I have posted before, in the past two years our group has been on 2 D8's, the 800RMK and now 2 Pro's.
