Overheating issues on the 2016 M9000 Snopro?

Anybody have any issues at low elevation? They only have half a cooler. That must be how they got them down to 575 lbs dry.

Elevation has nothing to do with an over heat issue, i'm not sure what is mean't by half a cooler other then trying to be smart.
Like all liquid cooled sleds they are a basic cooling system, if you understand how that works take it to a repair shop.

In 2016 they cut the cooler in half of the previous years. The cooler ends about mid seat.

Yes sir they are all like that, all the new Kingcat's and Side Winder's have a small cooler under the seat only. They are a mountain sled so scratcher's need to be used on the trail.

The M9000 and King Cat/SW are basically very similar.

Nope not unless something wrong or your riding on virtually no snow.

Here is an example, was in Valmount a week ago, temps were stupid hot and sled ran in normal zone all day but in one occasion we come down a whooped out trail at low speed. 3 of us, a Polaris a Cat and SW. Both the Polaris and Cat went into limp mode before the SW. We had to stop to cool them off. On the second attempt out the whooped out trail all three of us went into limp mode, pretty much at the same time. Nothing wrong with the sleds but conditions with the given whooped out trail and low speed cause the over heat. Once off that long trail all was good even with the hot day we had.

Does the M9000 have the radiator is it with out the rad, earlier models had a radiator like the Viper..

Make sure the coolant system is full. Being down half a litre will make it heat up quite a bit faster.
