On the Wapiti

First day , wapiti is wide open with the odd ice floaty , dirty and quite high . My boat still in shop so I jumped in with some buddies, earliest ever on the wapiti . Smokey is still quite a few ice floes but a few more days it'll be fine.

Upper Wapiti . Went as far as you can go due to a old slide that stops boats.

What a hoot up there . From wapiti gardens south of beaver lodge you go up on the wapiti, past nose creek confluence then past the Narroway mouth . You can go up the Narroway right now a long ways but today we stayed in wapiti and went right as far as you can go as Ross said . Awesome , but holy crap some of those rocks are sneaky , and big. I swear I saw a couple of them slide over and puff up as soon as you're committed to a line, they're mean. Can see why there's been boats sunk or wrecked up there in lower water. Thanks for leading us Ross. And thanks for bringing me some gas back, floating thru that $hit was no fun , Next time I'll bring a bit extra.

Harber craft extreme duty , it's an older one, the windshield is further back than the newer ones. The wrap he did is awesome, the design is same on each side but colours are reversed
