Don't know about you guys but I can't remember the last time I drove 40km over the speed limit. Not to mention, how many of them speeding are pulling a trailer, etc?

I will drive 10 MAYBE 20 over to pass that's it. So the laws don't even affect me. Hitting 40 over is stupid IMO. Don't know about you guys, but it kind of makes me happy. MAYBE a few idiots will think twice about driving 150-160km while passing people around blind corners, etc.

It likely is put in as just a cash grab, but o well i'm sure it will help a tiny bit. The insurance rates only affect B.C people anyway.....

Speeding is speeding. Speeding while passing is still speeding and will get you a ticket. Just ask me. Fighting this one in court.

I got back from a little holiday to kamloops for this past weekend. And some of the people on the road dont deserve to be on it from what i saw.. I set cruise at about 115 and go. Never been an issue but had people passinf in blind parts of the road, when raining hard you couldn't see past the semi in front of you and there goes a truck past me and blindly passing the semi. I wish that the cops would catch people that do dumb crap like that as they are endangering alot of peoples lives and just take there vehicle and license for good and make it so they cant own a vehicle. People say oh but i put on alot of miles so i'm a good driver and can handle driving faster than others, but it isn't the going fast thats the problem. It's the stoppin or avoiding something thats the issue. Dont really matter how good of a driver you are if something happens right in front of you if you are doin 150 it's gonna take you longer to stop.

I can't afford to speed. My truck drinks fuel fast enough at 100 or 110, no sense in me getting up any faster than that. Gas is 107.9/L here, guys gotta conserve where he can! Haha :d

I know 110 is speeding, but it's half assed speeding, so it barely counts. Ron approaches speeding like it's his job :d :d

Just back from Vanc. island this past weekend and between Kamloops and Jasper the average speed was 120KMH as that is where my cruise was set just under and was being passed continuosly. Some old guy in a lexus and another in a BMW passed us at no less than 140kmh and doing so on a solid line approaching curves.
