OHV Bans

Has anyone heard of any bans coming down for the long weekend?

I thought I heard something on the news that they were concidering it due to extreme dry conditions... but can't find anything about it.

Contacted SRD and they advised no such bans are in effect as of now but could be it conditions worsen.

Also told that local counties and municipalities can envoke their own tempoary ban...

So anything yet?

I just looked at the SRD site, and nothing there on OHV bans. There are fire bans in many of the SRD managed forests, but no information on OHV use.

most of the province is getting rain tonight so that will help the dry conditions

Nothing province wide, they are advertising on the radio, asking riders to stop frequently and remove stuff from around hot parts that can fall off and start fires.
