Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

Just got back from Revy, we were supposed to ride for 2 days and only rode 1 at Eagles pass. I could literally see my tracks (stucks from 10 days ago) and the snow has settled down about 12-18inches. Snow is on its way though! :D

Would like to give props to the Sicamous Snowmobile Club too. The rode/trail into Eagles was literally a highway, until the groomer couldnt go any farther. Not enough credit and thanks is given to the clubs far all their hard work.

Sicamous club has the best groomed trails in western Canada in my opinion...

6" of fresh up top today. More in the forecst tomorrow.

LOGGING TRUCKS HAVE STARTED HAULING OFF FRISBY, STAY OFF THE MAIN ROAD AND USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN CROSSING THE MAIN HAUL ROAD. STOP AND LOOK BOTH WAYS

Has anyone been out lately? I'm coming down on the 26th and I'm stressing that the snow is going to suck. Forecast looks crappy

Re: Official REVY Riding conditions 2011/12

Anyone that could have rode today and did not,Big Mistake!. The 3 weeks of no snow is over and its back to the deep powder days with a little sunshine thrown in. Jim and I went back and forth from one side to the other as we worked our way right to the back end of Frisby putting on 100k today and we had untracked powder all the way. I would have posted the pics of Jim hitting his 2 trees today but I'm sure he would like to forget.

Thanks
Greg
