Well, I guess we were lucky. We were the 20th truck from the incident. WE drove on through after waiting 2 hours. Got into Revy at 10:30.

Still closed...low confidence for opening by 10am. But seems like very little traffic going the alternate route via Radium, the hwy goes by our place and it's busier but not busy.

Highway 1 Both directions - Closed in both directions from Golden to Field (55.2 km) because of Winter Driving Conditions. Estimated time of opening is 10:00 am MST. Low confidence level. Update to follow. Updated on Thu Nov 24 at 7:11 am. (ID# 119824)

guys yesterday checking the snow were digging pits 9 ft. deep above the cabin.

Okay, enough of the driving conditions.
We have all been there and have the t-shirt.
It is just the start. Plan ahead, lots of fuel and have an alternate.
It has always worked out every year. LOL!

Yes, its back...... Patch is busy but time to head out.

Whoever knows this loggin boy, us three minus Shadow are on our way!!!!!!

Just kiddin, Shadow has had her 17th birthday and will once again be with us.......

Pretty good ride today at Boulder , Cabin area is hammered but there is lots of fresh towards the top . People stayed away from the higher up portions because it was blowing pretty hard but the snow was set up fairly good . Weather rolled in and it was 5m tops on the visibility . Snowing when we left ..

Caribou Basin closed completely Jan. 1-Apr. 15 ride it before and after thoses dates, Keystone/Standard has 2 very large new closure areas Jan. 1- Apr. 15 still area to ride when closures are in effect.

Rode boulder today. No complaints on snow conditions. It's worth the drive. We figure the snow is about 6 feet deep inbetween the trees.... Between banff and golden...2 minivans, 1 car& 1 truck with sled in the weeds due to road conditions early this morning Pics coming

Telus is putting a new tower up on Boulder, they are plowing the rd. on the W side entrance to access site. Latest I heard is they plan to be done by Christmas.

Moved to Revelstoke this week, so life is good. Rode Frisby yesterday life got better. Sunny pow days are hard to beat. 6 days riding already and many more to come. Snowing again.
