Is anyone still riding in Tumbler or pine pass area? I'd really like to get out for one more ride.

And I'm not afraid to ride over a ton of gravel/rock to get to the snow.

You'll have better luck riding out behind some of our local hockey rinks than you will trying to find snow in Tumbler or the Pass. :d

Timber if you're lookin to ride the best place would be Hasler. You need a deck though cause you'll never turn a trailer around chasin the snow up the switchbacks. When you get into the trail off the road you need to go up the cutline to get to the alpine and not the creek draw. This time of year the creek draw will be dangerous as hell.
You shouldn't have any gravel riding this time of year. The road climbs pretty much all the way once you get past 51 km and the snow has melted well past that point by now.

the cutline can be fun too, a few steep little off camber climbs to get up there. took a '99 mxz 670 up there one spring, was interesting. started up the creek draw and stopped, you could hear the water rushing under the snow. hate to fall into something like that

jeez....I dunno man, I'd have to think about that for a bit....I still have the very first brand new one I ever got, a 1978 citation 300. got the 440 everest after that, then the POS formula series....owned 3 of them, an '84 formula mx 470, '86 formula plus 521, and then the '89 mach 1 583, sno checked the all new s series '96 mxz 583, '99 mxz 670 HO, zx '01 mxz 800x, and then the current '08 xp.

was thinking my next one would be a ground up build of a T-M8 in an XP chassis....but my dealer says 'doo has finally decided to give up it's computer fuel mapping codes, aerocharger is currently working on a system for the ETEC. will have to see what they come up with I guess before I decide. pretty sure the next one has to have boost, BDF must be tired of me baggin' his....:d
