I hear`ya we need snow!! I will be going on a ride in dec/jan with a couple buddies that never rode a sled before...both cowboys that think if it can't be done on the back of a horse it ain't worth doing...lol. But they said they would try it out so it should be a good laugh. If I have room on that trip your more then welcome to join in on the laughs!!:d

it will most likely be Mcbride, Valemont, or blue river. No worries they will need gear too...lol, and I am not talking boots and spurs!!:d

yeah seems a little overwelming at first but alot of that stuff isn't very expensive and the shovel, probe, beacon and avy pack can be rented .

most of the popular riding destinations have a place or places that rent out safety gear and some dealers here in edmonton .

If we end up going to Mcbride Spindrift Motor sports will have rental beckons, as for the other stuff there is an HMK backpack that comes with shovel, and probe I have seen them for around 149.00 to 169.00. Good luck I am leaving for Houston on sunday and will be back the 9th, there is a couple others that may want to come out for a rip at that time. I will keep you posted.:d
