As long as it's reliable, jump on and have some fun
Sleds are like vehicles, it's personal preference, and then for what you're actually using it for, trails, back country, mountains.
Just enjoy and have some fun, and of course BE SAFE
Now is a good time to buy. You will be able to find something pretty good for 3 to 4K. You have to find something that is right for you, that feels good to you, and will get you where you want to go. Do you have bike experience? Are you riding on the trails or in the mountains and off the trail? You answers to these questions and more will narrow your search. Test ride each one. Realize that the mileage may not be the actual mileage. You will find that one that is right for you.
