New to site

Hey all. Bear with me as this is all new to me. I've joined this site to gain more info on dirt-biking instruction, facilities, etc. for my 8-year-old son, who'll be getting his first motorized bike this weekend (weather permitting). We got the safety gear today, so he's raring to go. We'll be starting him out in a nice, big open field until he gets the hang of things, but knowing him, he'll soon be looking for new adventures and challenges. So! The learning curve is pretty steep for us at the moment, but I've already learned a few things from a short selection of the posts. We're located in Sherwood Park, AB, by the way. Welcome to the site, enjoy. There is a club called the AOTMX they have events for all ages. The closest place that is a track is the Antler lake track you can find that in the riding section on the left side navigation menu. How did you find out about the site?

Hello there! The bike we've got is just a little generic 40cc off the Net. I'm pretty sure this is just the beginning. But the outlay was reasonable - couldn't justify $1000 and up for his first bike. Thanks for the interest!
